Prices and figures on this site

The ranges, examples, and descriptions here are published to help you plan. They are guidance, not a quotation. On a Calabasas property the final figure turns on things a web page cannot see: the slope of the pad, the depth of base the subgrade calls for, the drainage detail, the paver line, and the access to the site. Your price is the one written into your estimate after the contractor has looked at the project.

Estimates and the agreement

A conversation or an emailed figure is not a contract. An estimate from the contractor becomes binding only once it is set out in writing and both you and the contractor have accepted it. Any warranty takes effect as described in that written agreement. The work itself is carried out by an independent licensed contractor, not by this site.

Permits, approvals, and responsibilities

Calabasas is its own incorporated city in Los Angeles County, so grading and site work are reviewed by the City of Calabasas rather than by the City of Los Angeles. Where a project needs city review, or sign-off from a homeowners association architectural committee, the contractor will tell you what applies and prepare what is needed. Timelines for those approvals sit with the city and the committee, not with us, and any schedule the contractor gives reflects that.

Using this website

You may read and use this site for your own project. You may not use it to break the law, to disrupt how it runs, or to lift its text and images for another business. This site comes as is, and while we try to keep it accurate and available, we do not guarantee it will be free of error or always online.

Services outside ours

The site relies on ordinary web infrastructure, such as the hosting platform that delivers your form submission to us. Services outside our control set their own content and policies, and those are not ours to answer for.
